will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical consultanc

services- including solution design- either in stand-alone consultin

engagements or as a member of a large project team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Author infrastructure architecture for programs- projects and initiatives.
Develop logical- conceptual and physical architectural models.
Communicate architectural decisions- plans- goals and strategies to project teams.
Gain organisational commitment for enterprise level architecture and initiatives.
Oversee all technical aspects of implementations of end-to-end integrated systems.
Initiate and deliver technology evaluations and recommendations.
Review new and existing program/project architecture for compliance with IT standards- policies and architectural plans.
Support business and IT strategic planning.
Support Enterprise Architecture Governance processes.
Solves difficult problems with effective solutions using rigorous logic and methods.
Architect- Design and implement health check operations.
Resolve and troubleshoot technical issues on complex global technologies/services.
Be able to participate in significant projects in parallel.

Essential Requirements

Experience of working with application discovery and profiling solutions
Experience in the complete lifecycle of software projects and be able to communicate it to stakeholders.
Experience of working with application discovery solutions.
Experience of Cloud architectures and models.
Experience of evaluating and integrating several On-premise and Cloud solutions.
Understanding of SAAS- IAAS and PAAS models of software architecture.
Understanding of application virtualisation and cloud Authentication and Authorisation.

Desirable Requirements

Knowledge of the Dell EMC solution & application infrastructure development methods.
Experience of using Testing tools and Leads code reviews- testing processes- and certification of software.
Experience of using infrastructure- application discovery and dependency mapping tools.
Experience of DELL EMC technologies including operational requirements (backup- DR- storage- network- user geography).
Knowledge of operating model transformation.
Experience of developing and managing budgets and business cases.
Languages & Development Tools such as Visual Basic- C++- JCL- PL/SQL.
Experience of databases SQL migrations.

The Principal Enterprise Architect role combines vertical industry expertise
and application knowledge- a broad range of consulting capabilities- and

value of information across the enterprise. The Principal Enterprise Architect
(P-EA) provides innovative thought- strategic guidance- and technology
expertise to help clients exploit information to its maximum potential and
accelerate their journey to cloud computing models. Taking an application-
centric perspective the position should be able to differentiate Dell
Technologies on our ability to deliver tangible business results through the
generation of actionable strategy and design- followed by driving and managing
execution with our clients- to enable them to transform and exploit the

The P-EA provides this support to an assigned account or set of accounts in a
given geography. He/she works closely with their sales team and customers to
create strategic account plans that are rooted in as-a-service technologies-
next-generation applications- and data analytics. The P-EA builds credibility
and challenges traditional customer thinking to sell a long-term vision as
opposed to pointed solutions. The P-EA should be able to provide technical
thought leadership for the account`s CTO- enterprise architects- application
developers- engineering- and operations teams.

_What you`ll be doing:_

Develop- build and maintains relationships with key customer decision makers and influencers: include CxO- enterprise architects- application development teams and senior management in operations and engineering.
Cultivate and foster a world class account team across the 7 strategically aligned businesses- including global services- partners- channels and corporate support groups.
Provides technical leadership and direction to the customer and internal staff.
Works with peer group to create- maintain and regularly communicate an account technology plan. The plan includes future state architectures- tactical initiatives and milestones and business relevant technology solutions.
Researches and communicates technology- industry and market trends and provides guidance on their application to customers and feedback of business requirements back into the appropriate SAB|s engineering and marketing organizations.
Researches competitive frameworks and solutions to adequately address and dispel customer objections that arise in a sales campaign.
Presents and markets the technical design and business value of proposed Dell Technology solution and business case to customers- prospects- and internal sales management.
Collaborative with the sales team to qualify opportunities regarding customer technical requirements- competition- decision-making process and funding.

Principal Engineer- Solutions Architecture
The CI/HCI Solution Architect is responsible for the installation

configuration- and integration of VxBlock- VxRack and VxRail systems. This i

a customer facing role- also responsible for customer low level configuratio

workshops- factory logical configuration- and installation and configuratio

of additional products and components with Vblock systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Logical Configuration Survey calls with clients- recommending designs based on customer requirements and equipment purchased
Factory logical configuration of Vblock systems.
Installation of VxBlock- VxRack and VxRail systems on-site at customer locations
Configuration of VxBlock- VxRack and VxRail components- including but not limited to Cisco UCS- Cisco C-class servers- vSphere- UIM- Windows- Linux
Comprehensive backup and testing of all installed VxBlock components
Responsible for implementing- supporting and toubleshooting the upgrades of data centres built using DELL EMC converged and hyper converged infrastructure. He/She should have expert knowledge in implementing & Supporting one or more of the technology domains such as data centre networking- unified data center storage infrastructure- VMware virtualization & Cisco UCS compute infrastructure
In-depth Knowledge Transfer of VxBlock- VxRail and VxRail systems to customers
Hardware- software and firmware upgrades of VxBlock- VxRack and VxRail systems and components
Preparation and completion of required pre and post deployment documentation
Mentoring of CI/HCI partners in VxBlock- VxRack and VxRail technology and deployment
Cross-training in all VxBlock components and technologies to be able to perform tasks in one or both of storage and networking alongside primary virtualization skillset.
Sales or pre-sales support and qualification

Requirements:

VCP 5+
Cisco UCS qualifications and experience.
Experienced in delivering converged and hyper converged systems
6 – 10 years` experience with VMware/Hyper-V- Enterprise Virtualization technologies. This experience should include planning- deployment- configuration and administration
The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in the use of data centre products and their use in the design of converged infrastructure through network- compute- storage and virtualization architecture. In addition- IT people/process consulting knowledge and experience- understanding of data centre physical requirements specific to power- cooling- cabling etc.
Experience installing and configuring vSphere- Windows- Linux- rack and chassis based servers
Certified to deliver Isilon- VPLEX- RecoverPoint.
Knowledge of vCloud Director- SRM- vCenter Operations desirable
Working knowledge of storage products and services from DellEMC.
Working knowledge of network protocols
Strong problem solving skills.
