Key Responsibilities

Provides technical consultative services during the pre-sales and/or post-
sales cycle for Flexible Consumption Models. Provides technical knowledge
transfer training sessions for colleagues within the Openscale Payment
Solutions group.

You will need to be a strong communicator so that you can explain complex data
problems to internal stakeholders who might not be as technically literate as
you. You will need to have an excellent understanding of what impact data has
to the business in both the short and long-term. Key areas of responsibility
will be:

Quality assurance in support of our Business As Usual (BAU) billing and capacity management operations for Flexondemand and Datacenter Utility. Including- billing calculation- operation management and output validation and escalation and recovery management for identified issues
Data source investigation and validation work: Identifying new data sources for (new- existing or expanded) assets within the OpenScale portfolio and working with internal Engineering teams to ensure that contractually required data is available prior to any new product launch
Contract technical understanding: Relating asset configurations to contracts; explain the implications of any contractual restrictions against existing industry best practice recommendations
Development and automation: Scripting- programming and coding solutions to gather- process and report on data; Develop reports and mine data in new and novel ways to present new business opportunities and cost reduction strategies

Essential Requirements

BSc (or higher) in Engineering- Computer Science- Physics or other relevant area from a top-tier University.
Strong data modelling and reporting experience and strong cloud architect and virtualization experience
Technical experience within the Dell EMC product portfolio
Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables- Macros- VBA Modelling)
Ability to work remotely and closely with peers around the world

Desirable Requirements

Significant experience in a pre-sales- technical architect or data science related role.

Essential Requirements

Significant direct sales experience for Software solutions (10 years +)
Data Protection market experience required
Proven success in solution selling.
Large Corporation sales experience required
Experience with partner management either in demand generation or fulfillment
Capacity to exchange ideas with Product Management- give feedback on the market adoption of our solutions- gaps with competition
Must be able to create ROI models and sell use case value to internal & external customers
Creativity to shape complex software propositions based on Term- Perpetual- Subscription License agreements
Fundamental understanding of finance and rev/rec rules
Has organization skills to align with many stakeholders
Analytical skills to use data to track and report activities and results
Strong communications skills
