The Analyst| Planning and Transformation is a member of the Europe Planning &
Transformation team that provides planning| transformation and business
consultancy support to the senior leadership team and their disciplines. The
Analyst| Planning & Transformation will support the Directors of Planning &
Transformation in the planning and execution of key initiatives and projects
for the disciplines in Europe| e.g.| baseline assessments| growth strategies|
transformations| integration| and pull-through of enterprise-wide strategies.


The primary responsibilities for this role include:

Support the Directors of Planning & Transformation in project support| project management| analysis| and communications needed to enable successful delivery against the strategic priorities of Marriott International:

Analyze and summarize information

Prepare presentations and reports for various stakeholder meetings

Manage smaller projects to accomplish key objectives for the respective disciplines

Provide project support e.g.| meeting organization| writing up meeting notes

Collaborate with other project teams within the continent to ensure best practices for project management| analysis and communications are followed and leveraged

Provide assistances to senior stakeholders as required

Success in this role requires a proven ability to analyze a complex set of
data and to be able to communicate complex information in an actionable
manner| to manage multiple projects at the same time| and a willingness to
find innovative solutions to business problems.


Information Analysis| Reporting and Summary

• Analyzes internal and external data to develop findings.
• Summarizes findings and analysis using appropriate tools and resources.
• Uses Microsoft Office and other relevant tools to present relevant
• Participates in cross discipline team meetings with experts to review these
findings and present to the Project team.

Project Management Support

• Supports the Project Leader on specific tasks such as developing and
maintaining detailed plans with timelines/milestones for various projects
• Compiles and prepares information for various stakeholder meetings.
• Respond to ad-hoc requests from Project Leader and Continent stakeholders.
• Improves processes| actively seeks stakeholder feedback and focuses on
designing processes/materials.
• Supports the Project Leader with the administration of project meetings to
ensure a efficient project flow

Additional Responsibilities

• Informs| updates| and provides information to supervisors| co-workers| and
subordinates by telephone| in written form| e-mail| or in person in a timely
• Attends and participates in all relevant meetings.
• Presents ideas| expectations and information in a concise| organized manner.
• Uses problem solving methodology for decision making and follow up.
• Maintains positive working relations with internal customers and department
• Manages time effectively and conducts activities in an organized manner.
• Performs other reasonable duties as assigned by the Project Leader.
• Special projects as assigned| including ad hoc requests for information and
analysis related to discipline initiatives.

Education and Experience Required

• 3 or 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration|
Hotel and Restaurant Management| or related major
• 1+ years of relevant professional experience| demonstrating progressive
career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance

Experience Preferred

• Prior experience in data analysis and supporting the execution of strategic
projects and initiatives
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
