delivery. AECOM is among the leaders in consulting for the built environment
across EMEA- and holds and must process vast amounts of data efficiently and
securely for the benefit of both AECOM and its clients. How it does this will
be critical to its success in the future. We are looking for a digital leader
who can take the work delivered so far on this path and use it to deliver both
a culture transformation in our EMEA wide teams- and transformational growt

and efficiency through the EMEA business.

This executive role provides the leadership required to further develop an

execute the digital transformation strategy as well as foster a culture of
digital innovation throughout every level.

This role must capture the hearts and minds of the AECOM teams and ensure the
teams have the necessary resources- vision and strategy to accelerate their
adoption of digital technologies and deliver the productivity savings to the
business. Promoting and celebrating the successes and supporting teams to
reach out to others across the business for support and know-how.

Digital technologies will automate much of the data processing that AECOM
engineering consultants execute today. This is both a threat and an
opportunity that requires careful leadership.

This role will lead programs that are designed to ignite digital innovation
and capture ideas. This role will also focus on the innovators within the
business- supporting them to find a path through AECOM and our partners to
evolve- learn from and commercialize ideas.

Key Responsibilities include:

Set a clear vision- along with strategy and implementation plans for AECOM in the digital world encompassing culture- digital tools for delivering existing services more efficiently- new digital services- and developing and monetising data

Further developing and implementing the AECOM global digital transformation strategy.

Deliver growth through the use of digital as a tool- and a suite of products for our clients; lead in selling our capability with our key clients.

Work closely with our IT partners- to ensure that hard and software are fit for purpose and will best set up AECOM for commercial success (IT operations are NOT within the remit of this role)

Represent the EMEA operating group on the global digital transformation steering group

Design and execute communications and initiatives aimed at increasing the awareness of Digital Solutions and celebrating success.

Create and present thought leadership content relating to digital (in various market sectors for example; Mobility as a Service in Transport- or Distributed Energy Resources in Power)

Identify innovators and support them to commercialize their ideas; create new service lines leveraging digital expertise and/or our data bank

Manage Partnerships with key digital partners such as Autodesk and Bentley.

Attract and retain top Digital talent to AECOM EMEA

Minimum Requirements

This role requires

Experience commercializing technology based innovation

A flexible leadership style that can adjust to different team cultures and situations.

People management of technology teams

Huge depth of digital experience across multiple infrastructure or built environment sectors

Knowledge of digital engineering including BIM and GIS- immersive technologies- data capture techniques including drones- as well as analytics and simulation is highly desirable

Demonstrated collaboration at a global scale

Effective communicator at all levels (from board room to project team)

Thought leader with published content in digital

Demonstrable experience of transformational change management in a similar organization

Experience of leading digital transformation

Understanding of Infrastructure and Buildings Design and Construction services

Demonstrable ability and enthusiasm to develop subject matter expertise in new areas

Strong relationship management and persuading and influencing skills

Motivated- entrepreneurial and autonomous

Strong analytical- problem-solving and process design skills

Robust- accountable and reliable

Given the nature of the role holder will need to be able to navigate through cultural and regional complexity and show flexibility in engaging with people in different jurisdictions and time zones.

The role holder will need to demonstrate strong organisational- interpersonal- and analytical skills in order to be successful

Bachelor of Engineering or other Technology related University degree

MBA or other study of Leadership
