Are you looking for a Front Desk leadership role in vibrant East London?
If so then we would love to hear from you. The 5-star London Marriott Hotel
Canary Wharf is recruiting for a Front Desk Manager. Reporting to the Senior
Front Desk Manager| this role is responsible for the effective supervision of
the reception team (around 12 associates) to ensure both the guests – and of
course our wonderful associates – are looked after and cared for. It’s a
fantastic entry level leadership role – previous Front Desk Managers have gone
on to larger Marriott properties| or obtained more senior roles in the
Company.
Who are we looking for?
Marriott experience is not necessary but will always be helpful! Above all
else| we are looking for promising leaders| people who have a passion for
people and enjoy the challenges that handling a busy hotel reception operation
will bring. Knowledge of Opera is very important| but attitude is more so.
Being a role model| an influencer and a sales person will all be important
qualities| as Marriott places a huge amount of focus on its leaders. You must
also be flexible enough to work a mixture of shifts from early until late| and
there will be a requirement for occasion night shift coverage as well
(although this will only be holiday over as we do have a dedicated night
team).
