Previous reactive Groups & Event Sales experience in Luxury Hotels.
Understanding of Opera programs Sales & Catering and PMS.

MAIN SCOPE OF ROLE:
This position is part of the reactive sales team who are responsible for
responding to all group| conference and event related enquiries for Sheraton
Grand London Park Lane Hotel| The Park Tower Knightsbridge| A Luxury
Collection Hotel| Le Meridien Piccadilly| W London-Leicester Square and Aloft
London Excel. This position is responsible for ensuring that all allocated
enquiries are responded to within the Marriott standard response time with a
focus on follow up to ensure the maximum conversion of enquiries and revenue.
This position is responsible for handling and converting leads| including
conducting site visits and contracting of groups and events.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with the Lead Management Team (LMT) to ensure all group and
event enquiries| in
addition to group/event related correspondence| is responded to at a minimum
Marriott standard response time of 24 hours.
Respond to enquiries via phone and email.
Follow the selling strategy from the Lead Management Team for Group Rooms and
Banqueting business| work in accordance with selling guidelines ensuring
minimum numbers and
pricing guidelines are adhered to at all times.
Ensure all allocated enquiries are followed up within 24 hours and thereafter
at regular intervals to
Ensure a good knowledge of Opera in order to be competent in checking bedroom
Conduct site inspections| at times in conjunction with the proactive Sales
team| to ensure that we
maximise conversion of enquiries. Ensure adherence to Site Inspection policies
for all site
inspections and that VIP site inspections are conducted where applicable.
Ensure contracts are issued for all Group and Conference & Banqueting
associated business in line
with EAME Group Contracting process/template or short lead business contract
Effectively manage time ensuring the completion of all pre-set tasks on a
