_POSITION SUMMARY_

Autograph Collection and Tribute Portfolio Hotels are a collection of
boutique| lifestyle| and luxury independent hotels around the world| hand
selected for discriminating travelers bored with the predictability of hotel
chains. We explore the world for discoveries| append hotels into the
Collection and give them our seal and approval. Autograph Collection launched
in 2010 with U.S. – based hotels; Tribute Portfolio launched in 2015 as a
brand of legacy Starwood Portfolio Hotels. As of March 2019 Autograph
Collection and Tribute Portfolio Hotels boasts 47 and 6 hotels in Europe;
respectively.

The Manager| Premium Collection Brands| Europe will play a key role on the
team with a focus on the brand management| development and growth of the
Tribute Portfolio| working closely with the Director| European Brand Leader|
Autograph Collection & Tribute Portfolio and the Global and Continent Brand
teams and assisting with brand management. The core responsibilities for the
position include:

1. Growth – In conjunction with the European Brand Leader and development teams| ensure that the right hotels are considered for the Tribute Portfolio| this includes property visits to assist with Property Improvement Plans| educating potential owners on the benefits of joining the Marriott systems| and assisting with basic ROI analysis for determining the viability of partnership via the brand calculator tools.

2. Performance – Ensure existing and potential hotels in the Tribute Portfolio have a unique and defined brand positioning in alignment with the core Pillars of the Tribute Portfolio brand. Work with European Brand Leader to source brand agencies capable of assisting hotels in developing their positioning. Assist in the execution of Continental brand strategic goals and ensure brand goals are achieved by working in close partnership with team members from development| CLS| sales| marketing and revenue management.

3. Provide assistance to European Brand Leader in the collation and execution of the required Brand Architecture documentation for existing and new Autograph Collection Hotels to ensure compliance with Experiential Assessment requirements.

_EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS_

_Brand Strategy & Planning _

Work closely with European Brand Leader to develop and pull through brand growth and development strategy for Tribute Portfolio

Assist Europe and Development teams to ensure development pipeline activation prioritizes hotels that fit the Tribute Portfolio

Shares best practices and recurring concerns as part of frequent communication with European Brand Leader to ensure brand positioning within the market is maintained

Support brand communications across the continent.

_Brand Performance_

Work with European Brand Leader to deliver unit growth goals| in partnership with Development team| for European continent

Work with Global Design and Franchise Support teams to ensure hotel compliance with brand standards and PIP requirements to ensure Tribute Portfolio brand integrity is maintained; make recommendations for adjustments as needed.

_Business Execution and Activation_

Work with development team to assess market for opportunities to bring “on strategy” hotels into Portfolio

Assists with the development and execution of processes for hotel activation and conversion process

Maintains a positive relationship with Tribute Portfolio owners and franchisees as it relates to the Brand

May be called upon to answer questions with respect to the development process| answering questions about Tribute Portfolio as well as represent the brand perspective to development teams

Actively visits potential hotel sites with PIP teams to evaluate suitably for the Tribute Portfolio

Provides individual hotels with under-activated brands/personalities clear set of requirements related to the activation they must satisfy to affiliate with the Portfolio

Reviews activation plans including style & design as requested by European Brand Leader| to ensure consistency with brand positioning.

Assists with resolving owner/hotel issues through the openings process

_Candidate Profile- Key Talents and Experience Desired_

_Experience and Education_

5+ years work experience| to include hotel operations| brand management and/or
lifestyle brand experience

College degree required

Proven track record working with executives in a consultative manner

European experience preferred

Multi-lingual preferred
