MISSION

Reporting to the hotel’s Marketing Manager| you will assist in supporting the
key marketing initiatives for W London – Leicester Square. Working closely
with various teams| both on property and external agencies| you will assist in
executing individual marketing plans for the hotel focusing on high impact
activities.

You will work on maximising all offline| online| social| partnership and
branding channels through the development of rich media| collateral creation
and loyalty program initiatives.

Working together with the on-property marketing team on the design and
implementation of a 360-degree marketing strategy| including social media|
content| sales support| OTA’s| digital and brand activation to ensure
consistent brand messaging across channels that will drive engagement and
conversion as per business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

§ Help develop and drive execution of marketing and PR initiatives for the
hotel’s room product| AWAY Spa| restaurant & bar concepts building on the
hotel’s competitive strengths / USPs| develop hotel / outlet positioning and
communicate core consumer messaging that clearly differentiates the hotel and
it’s outlets from its competitors.

§ Support and drive rooms strategy in line with sales’ business focus and new
hotel positioning to target key feeder markets| drive hotel ADR and ensure
hotel occupancy targets are met.

§ Work closely with PR team| brand agency| digital team and sales team to
support with key strategy and campaigns.

§ Support to sales teams by way of collateral development and execution of key
campaigns.

§ Support and deliver a content-led communication plan and integrate across
key channels to communicate positioning and brand passions to target audience.
This includes photography| video| copywriting and other forms of storytelling
content| ensuring delivery in adherence with brand guidelines and hotel
positioning.

§ Work closely with photographers during W Happenings| events and product
photoshoots and be present at W Happening and events when necessary to drive
and manage production needs.

§ Attending several Marketing related meetings and share agenda / minutes
afterwards. Attendance at marketing related workshops and broader Marriott
events or trainings as required.

§ Support the Digital Marketing team with the management of all third party
sites to ensure content and listings are up to date. Management of key
advertising channels as well as sourcing relevant new avenues of advertising.

§ Regularly monitor booking channels for bookings fluctuations and react with
aggressive and tactical strategies to meet business needs.

§ Creation of marketing collateral and tactical promotion assets associated
with events and liaise with printing and production companies.

§ Liaising with our internal Reservations and PR Team across all activations|
press-related bookings and events to ensure that event spaces used for
Marketing and PR purposes are booked as needed and on requested PR/Marketing
related overnight stays.

§ Assist Social Media Executive and strategy in line with the brand
positioning and content marketing strategy with a focus on online reputation
management.

§ Assist Social Media Executive with social media accounts management
(currently Instagram| Facebook| Twitter)| moderate user-generated content and
recommend approach to other platforms.

§ Develop engaging| creative| innovative content that builds meaningful
connections with key target audiences| promote brand-focused messages| support
activations and promotions| drive traffic to website and encourage followers
to take actions (interactions| leads| bookings). That includes coordinating
photographers and videographers| graphic designers| and other relevant content
creation partners and suppliers.

§ Collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing team to maintain and develop
online tools and initiatives including website updates as required.

§ Be present at key happenings and special events to manage event production
as needed.

§ Constantly monitor new trends and best practices and adjust the strategy
accordingly.

§ Handle the processing of invoices for vendor payments and take ownership of
allocated monthly budget.

§ Generate and analyze booking/sales reports + guest list reservations from
events as needed for operations.

§ Assist with the preparation of marketing reports analyzing and summarizing
marketing results to measure the success of the activations.

§ Research competitors (hotels/B&F venues/spas) to identify and evaluate their
offerings| pricing| and promotional strategies.

§ Conduct research to analyse market trends.

REQUIREMENTS

§ BS/BA in Communications| Marketing| New Media or Public Relations

§ Highly creative| with a genuine passion for hospitality and brand marketing

§ Marketing and project management skills with a minimum of 2-years in a
similar role| including a good understanding of how to manage multiple
stakeholders in a complex environment

§ Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and managing several projects
simultaneously

§ Proven working experience in creating content and event production

§ Good understanding of the luxury and lifestyle markets

§ Excellent writing| presentation and communication skills in English either
as a first language or if second| fully bilingual competency| with a strong
understanding of creative writing for brand marketing copy

§ Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to
create it

§ Analytic mind comfortable with data collection and analysis

§ Highly proficient in Adobe (Photoshop| Illustrator or InDesign)| Microsoft
Office (Word| Excel| Powerpoint| Outlook)

§ Creative mindset with an eye for detail and ability to constantly think
outside the box

Working regular office hours during the week days. Regularly requested to work
during weekend days or evening for special events and marketing activities. .
