Job Summary
The PR & Marketing Executive works within the Public Relations team within the
wider Sales & Marketing team| to drive awareness of the hotel| its food and
beverage (F&B) offerings| outlets and overall brand image| internally and
externally in conjunction with the PR Director| as well as providing some
additional support to the Sales department with the Director of Sales and
Marketing.
This role supports the development of an annual PR and Marketing calendar plan
and| together coordinates with the Marriott digital team| the management of
the hotel and F&B outlet websites. Creates engaging content and monitors
Social Media for both hotel and F&B promotions| media databases| e-newsletters
and other Marketing and PR projects as directed by DOPR and DOSM.
Supports media-relations| partnerships| events and activities to bolster the
property|s reputation and image. The role supports the co-ordination of on-
property visits from media| including reservations for media stays and dining.
Builds and manages press databases| the photo library and collates a monthly
PR and Marketing report. With a keen eye for detail and a creative edge the
successful candidate must be able to write engaging| grammatically correct
copy for press releases and online sites. Good organisational and
administrative skills are essential in order to manage time effectively and
meet deadlines.
Supports Sales Department administratively with the preparation of
presentations together with some finance support as requested by DOSM.
