JOB DESCRIPTION
As PR & Marketing Executive| you will support the department with the day to
day function of a busy PR and Marketing office. This role requires
flexibility| creativity| organisation| and a positive and engaging attitude.
General
• To assist in the development and implementation of Conrad London St. James|s
(online) marketing & PR strategy and campaigns.
• Providing weekly and monthly reporting on all online and offline marketing
activity as required.
• Track competitor activity by keeping abreast of market changes and the
marketing mix used by competitors.
• Assist in administrative tasks such as creating presentations| raising
purchase orders| reports etc.
• Regularly check and update content and imagery on hotel website| Food
Beverage website & 3rd party websites
Social Media
• Be ‘in the know| for social media| upcoming bloggers| and social media
influencers.
• Day-to-Day Social Media planning| content creation and performance analysis.
• Be creative and passionate about photography and be able to take high
quality content of the hotel for social media use.
Design
• Producing and amending marketing materials| including items such as| but not
limited to: flyers| brochures| menus| leaflets| posters| website copy. Create
branded items such as stationery and merchandise.
• Design and production of all digital and print B2B| B2C and internal
collateral and coordinating external illustrators and printers.
• Assisting with the production of artwork| sourcing images| print buying and
checking copy.
Photoshoots
• Prepare for photo shoot and filming projects and liaise with all internal
and external teams to ensure a smooth process.
• Assist during photo shoots and filming with creatives to ensure a luxury end
result.
PR
• To support in copy writing for all areas of the hotel and Food & Beverage
outlets – to include email marketing campaigns| website| social posts and 3rd
parties.
• Produce clear and concise written correspondence in the form of letters and
emails.
• Uploading press releases onto media distribution channels.
• Booking in media visits and coordinating activity during stay.
• Keep media and coverage tracker up to date.
• Attend hotel-led events and any relevant off-site ones.

• The ability to respond professionally in any hotel emergency or safety
situation.
• Assist in ensuring that the department complies with all statutory and legal
requirements| including fire| Health and Safety| licensing and employment
• Have clear working knowledge of all company policies and operate within them
at all times.
• Ensure security| functionality and proper handling of company property in
the department
• Actively promotes and engages in hotel nominated charity activities and
local initiates.
Essential:
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Minimum of 1 year in similar role
• Understanding and interest in Marketing
• Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK| without
restrictions.
Desirable:
• Luxury Hotel Experience
• Knowledge of Adobe CS6 – InDesign & Photoshop
• Degree in Marketing/Communications/Hospitality/Business or similar

Previous Hotel or leisure sector experience
Previous Marketing experience in a similar environment
Basic knowledge of budgeting or cost-management
Relevant degree| in marketing| business development or other relevant business field| from an academic institution
