AECOM Protection & Control Manager in London- United Kingdom

Job Summary
Senior technical resource to manage the development and delivery of protection & control (P&C) design projects
Provide specialist P&C advice to Clients and the AECOM T&D team
Develop specialist P&C study and design procedures and monitors quality assurance to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.
Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of P&C elements of projects.
Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
Prepares technical specification sections.
Prepares tenders and fee estimates for the P&C projects and the P&C elements of multi-disciplinary projects
Will be required to take on broader project roles in both technical and project management areas to support other projects at times where specialist P&C work is not available.
Minimum Requirements
Experience of working as a designer in the UK or international transmission and/or distribution sectors at 132kV and above
Experience of design of P&C systems for National Grid
Being able to adapt to a wide range of different work and technical requirements is a pre-requisite- including areas outside of specialism.
Preferred Qualifications
BSc /BEng Electrical Engineering (Hons)
Chartered Engineer status or be on route to obtaining Chartered status.
