We are looking for an engaging and creative Training Manager to join our team
at W London| Leicester Square.

This is a new role for W London created in anticipation of the roll out of a
number of new W worldwide learning initiatives this summer and beyond.

The Training Manager for W London will be one of our most visible brand
ambassadors and a key driver of our culture whose work will have a direct
impact on both our Talent and Guests.

Whilst responsible for training at W London| the Training Manager at W London
will be part of a larger London training team and will partner with this team
to coordinate the delivery of company-wide training programs and events.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and coordinating all
learning and development activities across the hotel and will be seen by all
as a subject matter expert in all our Tools| Systems and Training Programs.

The Training Manager at W London will lead our culture of continued learning
in partnership with leaders across all disciplines| identifying and addressing
training needs at departmental level and consistently looking for new and
innovative ways to drive our learning culture forward in an engaging and cost
effective way.

As our in-house training expert and gatekeeper of talent development
resources| The Training Manager at W will be responsible for the Hotel’s
training budget and the effective use of training resources including the
effective use of the Apprenticeship Levy| ensuring that that all statutory and
brand training is completed in line to company requirements.


We are looking for:

-An engaging trainer with polished presentation skills

-A great relationship builder with a track record of improving performance through training

-Lots of energy and enthusiasm

-Demonstrable creativity in training design

-A track record of improving the experience of guests and employees through training initiatives

-Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken)

-A shared passion about all things W: our brand| our ethos and our future growth plans

Other desirable characteristics include:

-Educated to university level

-Relevant experience in a similar role in hospitality

-Hotel operational experience (either food & beverage| rooms| or both)
