This role is responsible for our Marketing efforts in the Small Business
space. This is Dell`s ‘heartland` and the 4m+ Small Businesses in the U
present a significant opportunity for Dell.
The ultimate objective of this role is to increase willingness to buy amongs
SBs and convert this into enduring behaviour change- delivering market shar
growth and achievement of commercial aspirations.
There are four key elements to this role.Drive demand to our website and into
our Sales Call centre by connecting with Small Business owners and Managers
through effective Marketing. Right message- right place- right time. Improve
Brand perception and purchase intent for Dell amongst UK SBs over time. Use
fact based insight to inform our online and Sales teams how to engage most
effectively with SBs who show interest in what Dell has to offer.

Develop and document an in depth understanding of this audience which allows to effectively market to them
Work with our agencies to develop a Marketing Engagement model which demonstrates different scenarios- budget levels- plans and which allows us to optimise our investment and plans
Develop a strong understanding of Small Businesses and turn this information into insight
Understand what SBs think of Dell and its key sub-brands and ensure that continually compare favourably with the competition on product- price- promotion and place.
Understand SB shopping habits – on line and off line- and monitor for key trends that can inform our longer term strategy.
_ Essential Requirements :_
Proven- successful SB Marketing experience including sales enablement- support- campaign management- Marcoms- Budget management and PR.
Mix of analytical and creative skills.
Commercial awareness and understanding.
Strategic as well as operational capability.
Strong Team player & exceptional communication skills.
Demonstrable ‘Entrepreneurial Spirit` and fresh thinking approach with ability to effectively motivate and manage agencies.
_ Desirable Requirements :_
Knowledge of Consumer PC/technology market a positive but not mandatory.
Diligence and accuracy of work – a must.
